Electric power supply of the plant is carried out from Chuguev power station 110/35/6 kV, located 300 meters from the plant (four cells of indoor switchgear – 6 kV) through the cable lines cross AAB 10.3 (3 × 240) mm2. Electricity is carried out according to the II-nd (second) reliability category that includes the provision of electricity from two mutually independent reserving power supplies.
Total estimated maximum power for 6 kV buses is 14,800 kW. (Permissible maximum power under the contract with AK «Kharkivoblenergo» – excluding existing subscribers – is 12,344 kW).
Distribution of electricity is produced by the plant through the system of lowering transformer substations, installed in manufacturing Shops. In total, 15 transformer substations are installed in the territory of the plant, with 19 power transformers of 1000 kVA and 2 transformers of 400 kVA, of them: 17 transformers are installed in the Block of shops, 2 – in the administrative building, and 2 – in pumping station.
Electrical supply to the shop substations is performed from two distribution points powered from 6 kV buses from substation of Chuguev. DS (distribution station)-1 is located in BS (Block of shops)-1, and DS-2 – in the compressor station.
DS-2 is connected to TS (transformer substation) No.17 – supply of water recycling pump station and fire line, as well as sub-subscribers. Differentiation of carrying supplies is carried among RP cells.
